You can’t take the forest out of the designer – but you can take his designs out of the forest.
German maverick NO/FAITH STUDIOS (NFS) dropped its new collection, "NATIONALPARK EIFEL,” during Paris Fashion Week with a presentation at MODES’ Rive Droite boutique. Guests flooded the Rue François 1er store for a first look at bold, intentionally weathered looks inspired by the forests surrounding NFS founder Luis Dobbelgarten’s hometown in the lush Eifel mountains of North Rhine-Westfalia, where the designer still keeps an atelier. An homage to Germany’s unique passion for seeking solace in nature, the latest collection’s subtly printed leathers, park ranger-inspired accessories, and technical nods to raw natural materials proved to work well in the city, too.
Celebrating not just "NATIONALPARK EIFEL” but a now official partnership as NFS’ exclusive European distributor, MODES followed the in-store launch cocktail with a party at the David Lynch designed members club Silencio. Dobbelgarten and the MODES crew were joined by the likes of supermodel Jordan Barrett, and dancing went late to sounds by Odunsi The Engine, Vegyn, and James Massiah.
